OVERVIEW:

The Showroom Sales Associate will assist in all aspects of the day-to-day operations of the Showroom and Sample Room. They will support the inside sales process, maximizing sales by handling all incoming walk-ins and scheduled appointments. This showroom is open to the Trade only.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Greet and welcome all clients immediately upon entering the showroom, provide refreshments as needed
  • Close sales by working closely with clients as they select their product
  • Utilize CRM to effectively manage sales opportunities and exceed client’s expectations
  • Enter sample orders into the ERP system. Prepare, pack and ship sample orders for clients
  • Maintain the appearance of the Showroom and Sample Room
  • Order general and office supplies
  • Maintain daily staffing and visitor logs
  • Open and close the showroom as needed
  • Other duties as assigned by management

  • Sales driven, creative and demonstrate an ability to support the client’s design needs
  • Excellent time management, organizational, and follow-through skills
  • Solid computer skills including MS Office, Excel, internet skills, and experience with Customer Relationship Management systems (CRM)
  • Lift and carry up to 40 pounds unassisted
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in a sales position, luxury products preferred
  • Interior Design/Architecture or Stone industry experience is a plus
  • Sales driven, creative and demonstrate an ability to support the client’s design needs
  • Excellent time management, organizational, and follow-through skills
